ABOUT us
Here at the church of Christ we meet together on the first day of the week (Acts 20:7) to collectively worship God, to partake of the Lord's supper (1 Corinthians 11:23-29), to sing songs of praise to God (Ephesians 5:19), to give a contribution to our local congregation (1 Corinthians 16:1,2), and to hear lessons from God's word (1 Timothy 4:13). Throughout this worship, we pray to God for spiritual direction, for forgiveness, and that our praise might be found acceptable to Him. As Christians, we take the opportunity in our assembling together to "stimulate one another to love and good deeds" (Hebrews 10:24).
We believe that God is holy and powerful, deserving our utmost reverence, devotion and service. We try to worship as the Bible teaches by patterning ourselves after the New Testament church. It is our intent to be able to provide a direct command, an approved example, and/or a necessary inference from the Bible for everything that we do in our worship to God. Our purpose is to "worship God in spirit and truth" (John 4:24) We invite you to Worship God with us.
